Delete Your VendSpin Account
This page explains how to delete your account in the VendSpin app, published by VendSpin LLC, and what happens to your data when you do.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
- Open the VendSpin app and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm, then enter your password to verify it's you.
Your account and data are deleted immediately.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email accounts@vendspin.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my VendSpin account". We may ask you to confirm the request, and we will complete it within 30 days.
Data that is deleted
- Your login account (email address and password)
- Your profile: name, phone number and profile picture
- Your saved delivery addresses and location data
- Your order history and the ratings you've left
- For vendors: your shop, product listings, product photos and shop location
- Your push notification token
Data that may be kept
- Payment records: card payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe), who keep transaction records for as long as financial and anti-fraud laws require. VendSpin does not store your full card number.
- Analytics and crash reports: usage statistics and crash reports collected through Firebase are not linked to your name or email. They are deleted automatically within 14 months.
- Legal requirements: we may keep limited information where the law requires it, for example to resolve disputes or comply with tax rules.
